LOTS was on The Streets of Alberton again on Thursday with De Wet recalling Revelation 3 vs 14-22 and speaking as the scripture led. Jackie from Crossfit in Alberton, together with her tiny little daughter, joined us with a load of blankets, of which all were handed out, to cover some cold bodies on a mid winter’s night.
LOTS is waiting on the Lord; waiting not only on the street people, but more importantly for HIS guidance as to HIS will, specifically regarding a ‘Conditioning House’, tentatively named ‘LOTS Orientation Lodging’ or LOL (?)
In line with this we are reminded to wait on the LORD.
To sit in HIS PRESENCE. To wait on instruction from HIM. To wait on HIS favour. To serve HIM. To do HIS WILL.
Oh how sometimes painful it is to wait for something, or for something to happen. PRAYING night and day. But when GOD answers Pray how good it feels.
Waiting for funds to come through, debts piling up, wages to be paid, and nothing happens. At the very last moment, GOD comes through. HE opens a door, work comes flooding in, money is made available. Our GOD reveals himself again.
PRAISE GOD for HE is GOOD always.
