LOTS# was challenged to not only be the Body of Christ but also share the Body and Blood of our Lord with our brothers and sisters on the streets of Alberton.

As with all ‘firsts’ there are bound to be hitches but none that cannot be overcome, in His Name. There was also the odd person who did not partake in the sacrament, in my opinion, a newer brother or sister where trust was lacking together with a language barrier. So the invitation is for anyone to join us, more specifically people who have a command of any of our rainbow languages so that we can portray the Message at a relevant level. We had a strong contingent of LOTS members available so it was pertinent that each ‘adopted’ a street person at every stop and ministered to him / her individually, thereby building stronger relations one-one-one.

We are never short on surprises and this Thursday was no different. At the first stop we were Blessed by a group of young recovering addicts from Center of Hope In Lenasia South, who were nothing less than exuberant in their love for the Lord in Dina, Shanawaaz, Raygan, Shivaan, Thato, Denver and Granville. We wish you God’s speed in recovery and His Higher Calling in your lives.
