A very busy night last night on the streets. LOTS had a group of young men from Marais Viljoen High School join us for the evening and it was a Blessing. Dishing, serving and interacting with our friends. Sadly we got the news that one of our guys in recovery, clean for 2 months, overdosed and passed away. The number of people on the street was up again last night, weather warming up a bit, still a big need of the WORD to be shared and absorbed. Two guys were busy washing in a plastic dish when we arrived, and said to De Wet that they need to be clean, inside and out, to receive the WORD. In addition, they had not taken or had anything to drink, waiting for the WORD.
Some awesome news as well, Nico, who was one of the first guys we ministered to, clean now for 4.5 yrs, is getting married to Amanda, a very special lady who has helped him stay clean. All God’s Blessings for them.
