God’s Love and Ours (1 John 4 vs 7 – 21)
Again some challenges: A “dronk verdriet” and wanting to get off alcohol addiction. Posed the ‘commitment challenge’ to come to Church (any Church), so let’s see whether the invite is taken up, once, twice ….., and then what?; A ‘bad attitude’, trying to sell a watch to ‘get milk for my 1 month old baby’ OR is it to satisfy a ‘withdrawing personal craving’ – Policy: is we do not exchange or give money – so he left in a huff; Two young men (18 & 33) arrived at our last stop, having left a shelter looking for work, needing a place to stay. Unfortunately LOTS does not have any abode but we keep the Faith in that God will provide a shelter, and ‘Conditioning House’ in His time for His use. Amen.
