On the 26 July 2025 LOTS# hosted a Community W.A.L.K. in Alberton North for which, and during which, we invited Alberton Business, the Alberton Community and our Brothers and Sisters living on the streets to get involved. The theme on the day was W.A.L.K:

W – Witness God’s Love

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16

As we walk, we bear witness to the transforming power of God’s love, making His presence known through compassion and action.

A – Act with Compassion

“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” — Matthew 25:40

We move with purpose — meeting needs, listening, offering presence, and creating genuine relationships with those who often feel unseen.

L – Listen and Learn

“Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak…” — James 1:19

Every story matters. We honour the dignity of each person we meet by listening, learning their journey, and understanding their needs.

K – Knit the Community Together

“Above all, love each other deeply… Offer hospitality to one another…” — 1 Peter 4:8–9

Through love, prayer, and shared humanity, we help bridge the gap between the streets and the sanctuary, fostering unity among individuals, businesses, churches, and organizations.

It’s a powerful principle that can transform individuals and communities, fostering a more just and loving Alberton.
